Paleo Diet

A paleo diet is an eating plan based on foods humans might have eaten during the Paleolithic Era. The Paleolithic Era dates from around 2.5 million to 10,000 years ago.

A modern paleo diet includes fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish, eggs, nuts and seeds. These are foods that in the past people could get by hunting and gathering.

The paleo diet is a dietary plan that is based on the foods that are thought to have been eaten by early humans during the Paleolithic era. The diet emphasizes whole, unprocessed foods, such as meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. It excludes grains, dairy products, legumes, and processed foods.

The paleo diet is based on the idea that our genes have not evolved to keep up with the modern diet, which is high in processed foods and refined carbohydrates. This mismatch between our genes and our diet is thought to contribute to many chronic diseases, such as obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.
