Acids as found in a processed diet or high sugar diet corrodes the body potentially leading to food intolerances, inflammation and allergies.

The higher the acidity, the more inflamed the body can be. Eating alkalising foods, you can reduce acidity, inflammation and pain.The diet involves reducing acidic foods like meat, poultry, dairy, and processed foods, and increasing alkaline foods like fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

While the diet’s impact on blood pH is minimal (as the body tightly regulates this), it does encourage a healthy eating pattern.
